The aurora borealis was stunning to see and even some rain failed to dampen spirits. Mini bus was comfortable. We got out the bus and saw the milkyway first and after some minutes the northern lights show. The aktivity wasnt very strong but it was incredible to see anyway.
The chatting at the campfire was very nice and the soup and wraps were delicious. We had a small group of 7 people. Our Guide Camilla was very nice and provided us with lots of information about the lights and norway itself. I would recommend this experience. Even if the wheather conditions are bad, they will make it possible. read less

We were led on the trip by the excellent and knowledgeable Kamilla, and driver Lucas. What a fun day's outing around the fjords! We saw White Tailed Eagle, a moose (never seen one before!) and plenty of reindeer, as well as beaches on the west coast with snow down to the shoreline. The boat went fast, of course it was cold, very cold, but with the warm gear they gave us (to wear on top of our own layers), it was perfect! When we got back from the trip, we were provided with warm drinks and snacks and sat around the cosy fire chatting before we all headed off to do different things. I’d definitively recommend Pukka for their RIB tour of the fjord around Tromsø. All the staff were friendly, accommodating and professional at the same time. Before going, I worried slightly about getting sea sick (past experiences), but the boat goes super fast, you look forwards and absorb the beauty and not even an ‘s’ of the seasickness popped up! 1 Northern Lights workshop before/during tour
1 Northern Lights Sailing
1 Northern Lights Minibus Chase
1 Arctic Sail Safari
1 Snowshoe Hike

Sailing through the arctic ocean (if you're lucky having the northern lights above you're head) chasing the northern lights with a bus or hiking up a mountain in the middle of nowhere is literally one of the most amazing experiences we have ever had.
If you want to feel the absolut bliss about spending quality time in an incredible nature, you're looking at the exact right company here. The standard here is of best quality, the equipment you receive ranges from gloves to boots to arctic snowsuits etc.
But what made the experience so special was not the activities themselves but especially the people behind this company. They have warmly welcomed us and made us feel like we're part of them. They're all super friendly, open and very very accommodating. These people make you're journey unforgettable. We will definitely come back!

We could ask him anything about the boat, the arctic and basicly anything we wanted to know about life in Norway. He also made really tasty food (told us the recipe, so we’re definitely gonna try that at home!). I’m also very happy about the fact, that there is no problem if you are a vegetarian. The soup was fully vegetarian and taste Amazing! There are some snacks and coffee/tea avalible during the sail. It was great, that the boat has a heated salon, because it gets really cold outside (but the warm suit did really help). Also it has a bathroom, if you need. So if you are thinking about a trip like that, I would totally reccomend Pukka Travels Next time I’m in Norway, I’m gonna definitely book a tour with them again!
