We saw the northern lights in a magnificent place. Pukka team members found for us the perfect spot and made the night even more special with a bonfire, marshmallow and reindeer soup (there was also vegetable soup for vegetarians). Jenka took amazing photos and she also draw with a red light a heart in our picture. Both guides were skilled, friendly and passionated for their work. We were on a cruise and our itinerary was changed due to bad weather which meant we had to reschedule our dog sledding trip. However Pukka and Artic adventures were brilliant and we were able to do it when we did arrive in Tromso a few days later than planned.
This was a well organised event and so much fun it was actually the highlight of our holiday which was plagued by stormy weather. The people, the dogs the welcoming fire, cake and coffee after an hour long superb self driven sled ride was awesome.

We are lucky because of the aurora storm, however, our guide Jenka and the driver Lukas have done a great job to find the place to see the aurora. I often think of taking an aurora photo with reflection on the sea and my dream comes true this time!! The camp fire, the homemade soup made the tour perfect. With stunning landscape surrounding us, we could experience the Rain, breeze , sun.....
The best service provided from Nick being an expert sailor and Jenna as a superb host. Really appreciate their hospitality!
Had a nice,Fun time with fishing , spicy fish soup and breathtaking sailing through the Trollfjord.

The tour was led by Debbie. Words fail me when I try to express my feelings about the tour and the tour leader.
The lights were overwhelming and Debbie found them just outside Tromsø!
We had four hours of excitement. I should also mention that the soups which were served during the trip were very tasty.

The Northern Lights were amazing and lit up the sky for hours. Our hosts were fun and super excited about the whole trip. Loved that they made a campfire and dug out the snow for us to sit and drink hot chocolate and feast on reindeer stew and finally roast marshmallows on the fire. I would like to thank the entire Pukka staff for being so fabulous for all three of our excursions. Thank you to Caroline who helped us when we thought we wouldn't make it. I can... read moreI've done northern lights sailing, snowshoe hiking, sail safari and norther lights chasing in a minibus with Pukka. I can highly recommend all of them. The tour guides are excellent! it is clear that they know what they are doing, genuinely like it and make every effort to make the travelers feel comfortable and experience what they came for. The nighttime chase in a minibus was the highlight of my trip as I not only got to see the aurora borealis but Charlie and Lucas made it really enjoyable with their positive attitude, the campfire, great pictures, and great company. I came back feeling really invigorated. Definitely recommend! read less

Amazing experience If you set off on this journey accepting that you’re in Mother Nature’s hands and that there’s no certainty you’ll... read moreIf you set off on this journey accepting that you’re in Mother Nature’s hands and that there’s no certainty you’ll see the northern lights, you’ll appreciate how good the PUKKA team are and all they do to make you live an extraordinary experience, despite the aurora.

We left the lounge with very little hopes we’d see the northern lights. It was cloudy and the odds were not exactly in our favour.

Kamila and Hubert perfectly know territory and weather conditions all around Tromsø and drove us about 50km away from the city, with Sami music on the radio, to keep our hopes alive.

After setting up the camera, we lit up a bonfire and tasted a delicious homemade reindeer soup, while Kamila and Hubert explained what creates northern lights and fostered a good atmosphere among all the group members.

All of a sudden, a tiny breach in the clouds showed us a couple of stars and revived our hopes. A little later, the gap was wide open and the northern lights were right there dancing above our heads.

Aurora or not, the PUKKA team was just fantastic throughout the tour.

The northern lights were just the icing on the cake. read less
