The boat went fast, of course it was cold, very cold, but with the warm gear they gave us (to wear on top of our own layers), it was perfect! When we got back from the trip, we were provided with warm drinks and snacks and sat around the cosy fire chatting before we all headed off to do different things. I’d definitively recommend Pukka for their RIB tour of the fjord around Tromsø. All the staff were friendly, accommodating and professional at the same time. Before going, I worried slightly about getting sea sick (past experiences), but the boat goes super fast, you look forwards and absorb the beauty and not even an ‘s’ of the seasickness popped up! The tour was led by Debbie. Words fail me when I try to express my feelings about the tour and the tour leader.
The lights were overwhelming and Debbie found them just outside Tromsø!
We had four hours of excitement. I should also mention that the soups which were served during the trip were very tasty.

Sailing through the arctic ocean (if you're lucky having the northern lights above you're head) chasing the northern lights with a bus or hiking up a mountain in the middle of nowhere is literally one of the most amazing experiences we have ever had.
If you want to feel the absolut bliss about spending quality time in an incredible nature, you're looking at the exact right company here. The standard here is of best quality, the equipment you receive ranges from gloves to boots to arctic snowsuits etc.
But what made the experience so special was not the activities themselves but especially the people behind this company. They have warmly welcomed us and made us feel like we're part of them. They're all super friendly, open and very very accommodating. These people make you're journey unforgettable. We will definitely come back!

I was supposed to go to a phototour which was unfortunately canceled due to Arctic race (road were closed) and the agency offered alternatives. I chose a night hike to Kvalvika instead. The guide, Hubert, was very nice and easy going. I was the only one participant. The hike wasn’t very easy, but due to weather conditions but I felt safe. Appreciate the meal at the end of the hike. The... read moreWe spontaneously booked the northern lights sail and it was one of the best trips we did in tromso. The group was small (12 people) and the staff was super friendly. We sailed out and had a fantastic show up in the sky. They provide you with warm furs and coats and serve a fresh fish soup after a while. Definitely recommendable. Only disadvantage was that all other tours we booked send us free pictures from the adventure. read less

It was my first time to Norway and I have no background of any agencies/tours that did the northern lights. I must say that Pukka Travels are excellent.

•They shifted my Northern Lights Minibus Chase by bringing it a day earlier because they informed me of the weather changes.

• I thought that was really professional. It was offered to me while I was doing the Arctic Fjord sightseeing.

• Knowing that they are locals and experts of the area, I took up the opportunity and they provided another wonderful experience.

• Jenka and Hubert were very knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful throughout the minibus chase. They were positive and were able to handle a very large group of us.

The northern lights appeared as we left harbour and continued to amaze throughout. When we anchored in the middle of a fjord with the engine silenced, we sat in the quiet, taking in the lights, shooting stars and beauty of the landscape - it was wonderful. The crew, Anton & Hubert were very welcoming and considered in the way they looked after us. The hot chocolate and blankets were very timely. Would highly recommend. read less

We saw the northern lights in a magnificent place. Pukka team members found for us the perfect spot and made the night even more special with a bonfire, marshmallow and reindeer soup (there was also vegetable soup for vegetarians). Jenka took amazing photos and she also draw with a red light a heart in our picture. Both guides were skilled, friendly and passionated for their work.
