The Arctic summer is special. The fresh air combined with mountains, fjords and the thriving wildlife makes this a one-of-a-kind destination to explore. Very close to Tromsø you can find an archipelago of isolated islands and white sandy beaches. From above it looks more like a hidden tropical island paradise, but on the water we get reminded we are still in the Arctic. You will feel the cold breeze on your cheeks while feeling warm and comfortable in our insulated safety suits.
During this 3 hour activity we will meet up at our base in central Tromsø for a quick briefing and overview of the navigational area we are about to explore together. During strong winds we may schedule the route slightly differently for your comfort and safety.
A passionate skipper & guide, epic views, wildlife spotting and coffee break is included in this easy and fun activity on the water.

The sea around Tromsø is thriving with fish, birds, eagles, seals and other wildlife. We will teach you about the lively ecosystem the region offers.
A pit stop with fresh snacks
We want to make sure you keep your energy levels high. Fresh coffee, tea & snacks will be provided at our pit-stop.
Safety & Comfort is Key
Even though it is summer, the water is still very cold. We will provide insulated arctic safety suits, gloves and goggles that will keep you dry and warm during your expedition out at sea.
The environment is also our priority
In order to run an eco-friendly organization, we choose to use sailing boats and electric cars for the majority of our tours. We also measure the amount of fuel we use and offset our carbon footprint with a carbon neutralizer company.
We know how important the photos are
Need a tripod? No problem, we got one for you at no extra cost. Just ask us when booking if you need a tripod.
Wildlife & Nature
Wildlife is the main theme during these sailing excursions and we have been fortunate enough to see a variety of wildlife when sailing through the fjords. We often see eagles, seals, lot’s of different sea-birds, humpback whales & Orcas (if they are in the area) as we explore the fjords. In addition - you get to try fishing during our tours.
We provide warm suits
We include warm suits on this excursion, however we do recommend to bring proper winter clothing for your maximum comfort. The catamaran is equipped for safe winter sailing with an effective heating system and of course, our skippers have all of the licenses and knowledge needed to make you feel comfortable while out at sea.
A personalized experience
While many other operators have big boats with a lot of people, we care for your personal experience while sailing with us. Our guides would love to answer any questions you may have while sailing. Our crew feeling as if they are out on the water new with friends, while in a professional, safe and comfortable setting.
What about food?
On our tours we take your comfort very seriously and we know how nice it is to have a bite to eat along with warm drinks. Our team will prepare some snacks and warm drinks for you to enjoy during a pit stop.
Traveling in a large group?
If you are traveling in a bigger group we can offer several boats where you will all get to enjoy the fjords while sailing out in the Arctic. Please feel free to contact us if you are a larger group as we have great experience in hosting big events, both on land and at sea.
