Northern Lights x Mini Bus Chase
6-9 Hours 18:00 - Late. September - March.Hot chocolate/tea/snacks and and an even warmer atmosphere around bonfire

In a small group with maximum of 8 people we will find the best spot to see the Northern Lights (away from light pollution and with clearest skies possible). If it is cloudy above Tromsø, don’t worry, it is possible to find a clear skies further away.
Our team carefully analyzes the weather conditions before the tour, while keeping in touch with other guides and monitoring cloud movements on the way. Once we find the best spot, it is time enjoy the arctic nature and take some pictures. Your guide will take professional photographs, which will be shared the following day. Your guide will also help you set up your own camera - if you need a tripod, we can let you borrow one of ours for free.

Your guide will stay with you for the entire evening while making sure you are as comfortable and warm as possible. To do this we provide thermal suits and warm, dry boots for the entire duration of the tour. Later in the evening we will make a bonfire, have fresh sausages, s’mores, hot drinks and cookies.
The Schedule
18:30 - Meeting at the Pukka Base (In the City Center)
18:45 - Departure to the place with clearest skies to give you best chances of seeing the Northern Lights (depending on the weather conditions we go remote landscapes near or far)
20:30 - To stay warm we can put on thermal suits and boots
20:45 - Time for pictures and opportunity to enjoy arctic landscape
21:15 - We will make a bonfire and have lamb sausage/soya, hot drinks and cookies
21:45 - Storytelling by the fire, monitoring weather conditions and Northern Lights activity
22:50 - Sweet goodbyes and gear up to leave the spot
23:00 - Departure towards Tromsø- depending on how far we went it will take 1-2 hours
00:30 - Arrival back in Tromsø and drop off to Your accommodations
If we don't see the Northern Lights?
Of course we can not guarantee sightings, but we have a very good track record where we see lights on the majority of our tours. If you do not see the lights we offer an 80% discount on a Northern Lights sailing tour onboard our luxurious catamaran. In the event that we are fully booked on the catamaran, we run extra tours (non bookable) on Sundays and Wednesdays 18:00-21:00.
We know how important the photos are
We will send you a batch of professional photos that you can add to your travel collection or share with your friends online. Need a tripod? No problem, we got one for you at no extra cost. Our guides are also trained to be familiar with different types of cameras.

What about food?
What about food.. ? Great question! On our tours we take your comfort very seriously and we know how nice it is with a bite and some warm drinks during a Northern Lights camp evening. So we provide a lamb and vegetarian sausages, the evening that can be enjoyed while listening to storytelling by the fire.
