Dog Sledding

Dog sledding is a fun and memorable activity that we warmly recommend as a part of your itinerary. We just love it and want to share the amazing feeling of how it is to lead a dog sled with happy and strong Alaskan huskies. Out from the farm we slide into the snow-covered highlands of Kvaløya, between trees and over hills. With some luck – the Northern Lights will dance on the sky.

We have create this fun adrenaline filled tour while explaining Tromsø’s history and sightseeing along the way. Join an unforgettable day of reindeer sledding and Sami culture. During this experience you will also have a chance to feed the herd of around 200 reindeers, a fun and exciting way to connect to this historically important animal. After sledding, the group will gather inside the lavuu (Sami tent) for a hot traditional meal and listen to stories about Sami culture & history.
